Aron Cromwell has a Bachelor's of Science in Biology from KU and a Masters in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Michigan Technological University.

Together with his wife Hannah, the Cromwells run a thriving "green collar" business in downtown Lawrence, Cromwell Environmental.

The Cromwell's son Alder (12) is a 6th grader. Aron is a past co-president and board member of the Lawrence Community Nursery School and currently serves on the board of directors for the Lawrence Community Mercantile (the Merc).

Aron is the only certified Solar installer in Kansas. The Cromwell's live in an active and passive solar home originally built in 1911.
