& Document Shred

On Saturday, May 4, 2013, the City’s Solid Waste Division hosted an Electronic Recycling & Document Shred Event. The event was held from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Free State High School parking lot. A total of nine hundred and twelve (912) participants dropped off a total of 87,032 pounds (43.5 tons) of material for recycling, which included 59,632 pounds (29.8 tons) of electronic equipment and 27,400 pounds (13.7 tons) of paper documents. Electronic recycling at this event was provided by Secure e-Cycle and document shredding by PROSHRED.
